Former Bulldog Gin exec moves to Stoli Group

Stoli Group has appointed former Bulldog Gin executive Pierpaolo Indelicato as its new regional managing director for western Europe and western Africa.

Indelicato will lead Stoli Group’s sales and marketing across the regions, with an initial focus on growing the presence of Stoli Vodka and elit Vodka, and introducing the Bayou Rum brand to key markets.

Indelicato was previously responsible for the commercial and marketing strategy for Gruppo Campari-owned Bulldog Gin in EMEA and duty free channels.

The executive also previously acted as senior commercial manager for western Europe and South Africa for the Jose Cuervo and Proximo portfolio of brands. He started his career in spirits at Bacardi UK, before joining SABMiller.

“It’s an exciting time to join this award-winning organisation,” said Indelicato. “The team has done a great job of laying a foundation for success in the regions.

“My priority is to capitalise on Stoli Vodka’s equity and distribution footprint to drive organic growth while expanding our portfolio’s reach in key markets.”

Indelicato will report to Hugues Pietrini, who was named CEO of Stoli Group earlier this year, taking over from Rob Cullins, who left the company in October 2016.

“There is great opportunity with Pierpaolo’s regions and his experience with new brands and established ones intersects well with our priorities,” said Pietrini. “We are confident that his entrepreneurial mind-set and passion will drive our portfolio growth there for years to come.”
