William Grant appoints new commercial director for UK
Glenfiddich Scotch and Hendrick’s Gin maker William Grant & Sons has named Neil Barker commercial director for its UK business.

Working across the UK and Australia, Barker has held commercial director positions at a range of companies, including Birds Eye Foods, General Mills, and Fosters Group’s Wine Estates and Southcorp Wines.
“Neil’s expertise from both within our industry, and further afield, position him perfectly to bring new ideas and practices to our business,” said Rita Greenwood, managing director of William Grant & Sons UK and Ireland.
“At William Grant & Sons UK we have committed to an ambitious growth strategy and I am confident that Neil will drive his team forward to achieve great things in 2017, and the future.”
In February this year, William Grant & Sons appointed former Pernod Ricard executive Victor Jerez to the newly created role of group business development director – a new role.
