Pernod Ricard UK makes senior appointments
Pernod Ricard UK has announced two new promotions within its senior commercial team, appointing Ian Peart to the role of business development director and Mark Harris as channel director, on-trade.
Mark Harris first joined Pernod Ricard in 2013
Peart will report directly to Laurent Pillet, Pernod Ricard UK managing director. He has over 20 years’ experience in the drinks trade and has spent the last 11 years at Pernod Ricard UK, first as field sales controller and then channel director.
Harris will take over Peart’s role as channel director, on-trade, reporting to Chris Ellis, Pernod Ricard UK commercial director.
Harris, who previously held the role of field sales controller, on-trade, has 17 years’ experience in the drinks trade and joined Pernod Ricard in 2013.
Commenting on the appointments, Laurent Pillet said: “I am delighted to confirm these two appointments and look forward to working with both Ian and Mark on their respective strategies over the coming months. I wish them both every success in their new roles.”
In June last year, Denis O’Flynn stepped down as managing director of Pernod Ricard’s UK arm after 16 years at the company and was succeeded by Pillet.
