Savoy bartender to pop-up at Tippling Club

Dominic Whisson, senior bartender at The American Bar at The Savoy, London, is heading to Singapore for a one-night-only takeover at Tippling Club.

On 28 February, Whisson will host the Once Upon a Time at the Savoy evening, set to blend the retro glamour of The Savoy with the experimental daring of The Tippling Club.

Whisson will bring five cocktails from The Savoy, each paired with a plate by renowned chef Ayo Adeyemi. The cuisine creations are inspired by both French chef Georges Auguste Escoffier and Tippling Club’s “playful and progressive” gastronomy.

Tickets for the evening are priced at S$155 (about US$110) and include the five cocktails paired with the five plates.

Tippling Club’s head bartender Joe Schofield joined the venue from The American Bar at The Savoy in 2016.

Tippling Club made it onto SB‘s Asia Pacific Bars to Watch 2017 list, recognised for its unique Sensorium menu.

Last year, The American Bar launched The London Menu, a cocktail list that takes guests “on a journey” through London’s heritage.
