Pernod names new social responsibility head

Amandine Robin has been appointed as senior vice president, communications and CSR for Pernod Ricard USARobin currently acts as director, communications, public relations and CSR at Corby Spirit and Wine and Hiram Walker & Sons in Canada.
From 17 October, she will become a member of Pernod Ricard USA’s senior management team, reporting to chairman and CEO Paul Duffy.
Robin joined the Canadian business in 2011, and her responsibilities have included internal communications, change management, crisis communications, corporate and brand public relations, social media, community relations, CSR, investor relations and diversity.
Her new role will see her “shape and enhance” Pernod Ricard’s “mindset for growth” in the US while “fostering collaboration” in a bid to help the company outperform the market.
Robin has a double degree in commerce, specialising in strategic marketing and international business, from the Reims Management School in France and the University of Ottawa in Canada.
Her career began at the financial arm of General Electric in Canada (GE Capital). Prior to joining Corby, Robin led marketing and business development communications at Canadian law firm McCarthy Tétrault.
A search is underway for her successor at Corby and Hiram Walker.
