Nikki Burgess joins Caskstrength Creative

Nikki Burgess, former global brand director for The Glenlivet and single malts at Chivas Brothers, has joined brand development firm Caskstrength Creative.

Nikki Burgess has joined Caskstrength Creative as partner and brand strategy director.

Burgess, who spent almost 10 years at Chivas Brothers and more than three years in her most recent position, takes up the role of partner and brand strategy director at Caskstrength Creative.

The company, which specialises in brand development, NPD and marketing campaigns for the drinks industry, was founded in 2011 by drinks writers Joel Harrison and Neil Ridley.

“Having enjoyed a strong working relationship with Caskstrength Creative in my previous role I’m delighted to be able to bring my expertise and passion for brand building to such a creative and experienced team,” said Burgess.

During her career, Burgess oversaw a brand strategy that aided The Glenlivet to become the world’s best-selling single malt Scotch whisky. She was also responsible for a number of product launches and global television advertising campaigns and activations.

Caskstrength Creative has worked with brands including The Glenlivet, Highland Park and Metaxa.
