Edinburgh Gin grows summer festival initiative

Edinburgh Gin has added two extra outdoor sites for festival-goers in the city as it continues its partnership with the Stand Comedy Club.

Edinburgh Gin’s London Dry range

This year, visitors to the city during the summer festival seasons can enjoy an enhanced Edinburgh Gin Garden experience with an Edinburgh Gin Summerhouse and extended cocktail range.

The pop-up returns to St Andrews Square from 15 July-1 August featuring impromptu tastings plus music and entertainment from The Stand Comedy Club.

New outdoor sites include the Edinburgh Gin Fizz Terrace at Rutland Place Terrace, by the Edinburgh Gin Distillery from 5-31 August and East Princes Street Gardens from 5-29 August.

Across all three venues, guests can try the natural botanicals of the London Dry range of Original Edinburgh Gin, Cannonball and Seaside Gin, as well as the Edinburgh Gin Liqueurs.

Co-founder of Edinburgh Gin, Jane Nicol said: “Edinburgh is renowned as a centre of artistic excellence, and we are delighted to be taking part in the world’s largest arts festival as a craft distiller striving to bring the art of distilling to the fore.

“Edinburgh has a proud heritage of distilling and Edinburgh Gin as a centre for distilling excellence, we continue to push the boundaries of innovation, with our gins now sold around the world.

“We look forward to offering festival goers an experience and flavour of the gin renaissance in not just the enhanced Edinburgh Gin Garden in St Andrew’s Square, but across our expanded range of events encapsulating the spirit of Edinburgh Festival.”

Edinburgh Gin opened its second distillery in Leith earlier this year.
