Booze-free spirit Seedlip unveils second product
By Kristiane SherryThe “world’s first” distilled non-alcoholic spirit Seedlip has launched its second product – Seedlip Garden 108.
Seedlip Garden 108 is the first brand extension from what is thought to be the world’s only non-alcoholic distilled spirit
Inspired by the English countryside, Seedlip Garden 108 is described as a “green and floral” blend of copper-pot distillates including handpicked peas and hay from the founder’s family farm, plus herbs including spearmint, rosemary and thyme.
“With Garden 108 I wanted to recreate the experience of sitting in our fields eating peas with my grandfather and offer people an adult and delicious drink with a complex profile,” said Seedlip founder Ben Branson. “We have an exciting summer planned.”
The first Seedlip product, Seedlip Spice 94, launched in November 2015, billed as the solution to the “what to drink when you’re not drinking” dilemma. Its inspiration comes from The Art of Distillation, a book published in London in 1651, which featured copper pot-distilled, non-alcoholic remedies.
Seedlip is currently available in a number of noted bars and hotels including Dandelyan, The Savoy, Mandarin Oriental, Sexy Fish, Chiltern Firehouse and the Fat Duck.
