Royal Salute unveils Eternal Reserve activation at LHR
By Annie HayesPernod Ricard-owned Royal Salute has launched an activation for The Eternal Reserve blended Scotch whisky at London Heathrow Airport (LHR).
Royal Salute The Eternal Reserve activation has launched at London Heathrow AirportThe release, launched in September last year, was created using a “Circular Blending” process, whereby whiskies aged above 21 years old were selected for their exceptionally long finish, blended together, and married in 88 casks to form an inaugural batch.
Each time a new batch is released, half of the blend is re-casked in the Royal Salute Vault in Strathisla Distillery, to form a whisky that “lives forever”.
The brand intend to “immerse travellers” in the whisky’s creative process by exploring the innovative blending technique through a guided tasting.
In addition, a display dedicated to explaining the techniques used in the process will be featured.
The activation will feature at London Heathrow Airport from now until 12 April.
Royal Salute The Eternal Reserve is available exclusively in Global Travel Retail priced at US$180 per 700ml.
