Distiller whisky review app first to deliver

Whisky discovery app Distiller has become the first of its kind to offer whisky reviews, ratings, recommendations and now shipments after partnering with craft spirits merchant Ezra’s.

US-based whisky discovery app Distiller now allows users to order bottles through merchant Ezra

Through the partnership, Distiller users will now be able to order spirits through the app, depending on the laws of the US states in which they live.

The app’s new “buy button” also allows users to request the services of Distiller and Ezra to track down hard-to-find whiskies.

“We have found that our users are especially passionate about finding new and interesting whiskies to try, and with this partnership we’re now taking a big step towards being involved in that journey every step of the way,” said Mikael Mossberg, co-founder and CEO of Distiller.

“Now, if they get a recommendation or read about a whisky they want to try or gift to someone, they can purchase and have it in a few days.

“Not only are the vast majority of whiskies now available for shipment almost anywhere in the country, but we can also work with users who want to get their hands on harder to find products that aren’t available locally.”

Described is described as the “Booze Google”, Distiller allows user to scour a large database of reviews as well as access tailored whisky suggestions based on their personal preferences.

Its partnership with Ezra comes at a time of rapid growth for the niche on-demand drinks delivery industry in the US.

“Distiller has carved out a loyal following among both novice and longtime whisky appreciators, so naturally, this was a perfect fit for us,” said Adam Newman, co-founder of Ezra’s.

“We’re excited to give Distiller’s whisky fans access to our expansive selection of spirits and get their purchases delivered directly to them.”
