Chase creates potato-based limoncello for Pizza Pilgrims

Chase Distillery has developed a new limoncello in partnership with Soho restaurant Pizza Pilgrims, which it claims is a “continent apart” from the products available to holidaymakers.

The English distillery has developed just 1,000 bottles of Sohocello limoncello for Pizza Pilgrims founders Thom and James Elliot using single-origin Amalfi lemons in small batches.

The lemons are peeled and macerated in Chase’s 96% abv Hereford potato spirit for seven days and bottled at 29% abv.

Sohocello is available at select retailers including Gerry’s Wines & Spirits, as well as at Pizza Pilgrims in Dean Street for £25 for a 500ml bottle.
