Beam Inc has launched Sauza Sparkling Margarita Watermelon, the latest flavour to join Sauza Tequila’s Sparkling Margarita collection.

A twist on the classic Margarita, Sauza Sparkling Margarita Watermelon is a pre-mixed blend of Sauza Silver Tequila with triple sec and watermelon flavours, and is said to offer a “bold melon flavour” with a “lingering sweet lime finish”.

“Sauza Sparkling Margarita Watermelon is perfect for elevating any occasion and it’s only fitting that America’s most beloved cocktail gets a fun, fresh twist just in time for spring and summer entertaining,” said Gary Ross, senior brand director of Tequilas at Beam.

“As convenient as it is delicious and with outdoor entertaining upon us the timing couldn’t be better for watermelon, our latest Sparkling Margarita expression to hit the market.”

First launched in 2013, other flavours that are already available in the Sparkling Margarita range include original lime, wild berry and mango peach.

Bottled at 19.9% abv, Sauza Sparkling Margarita Watermelon is launching this month and carries an RRP of US$12.99 per 750ml bottle.
