Brown-Forman appointments bolster travel retail

Brown-Forman has bolstered its travel retail business with several key appointmentsHannah Lyons, former trade marketing manager for GTR, has been promoted to portfolio brand manager for GTR.
Her new role will see Hannah relocate from the UK to Louisville where she will be responsible for developing the Brown-Forman portfolio in travel retail.
Meanwhile, Claire Brockwitz has been appointed junior area manager for travel retail UK. Based in London, Brockwitz will be responsible for building direct relationships with British travel retail customers.
Lastly, Brown-Forman has appointed Shirley Sum as trade marketing manager travel retail APAC. Sum will be based in Hong Kong where she will oversee all marketing activities for the APAC region.
The appointments come months after the announcement that Jane Morreau will replace the retiring Don Berg on 30 April 2014.
Innovation from the Jack Daniel’s portfolio in contributed to 12% sales growth in Brown-Forman’s global travel retail business in 2012/13, driven by the successful Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select.
