Wenneker Swizzle Masters June heat now open for entries

Entries are now open for the June heat of The Spirits Business monthly cocktail competition The Wenneker Swizzle Masters, which is offering a trip to Holland or London as its grand prize.

The virtual cocktail competition, now in its third year, will this month see an array of cocktail experts from around the world pit their recipes against each other and the reigning Swizzle Master to create the ultimate ‘Romantic Rum’ cocktail.

With a changing theme each month, June’s mission is to create a romantic, summery drink with Negrita Gold Rum as a base with at least a dash of Wenneker spirits on top.

A shortlist of 10 recipes will be mixed by Wenneker’s ambassador Ron de Peter on 19 June at Vinexpo Bordeaux Tasting Lab 2.

The top cocktail will go through to the semi-finals in November, along with the top three from every month throughout the year, with just five chosen to appear in the grand final in December.

The overall winner of the competition will be sent on a trip to Holland or London.
