Tito’s Handmade Vodka Masterclass

“Better Spirits Make Better Drinks”
Tito’s Handmade Vodka London Masterclass to Benefit Equal Measures

While everyone might have their own favourite cocktail, one thing on which most bartenders and consumers can agree is that better spirits make better drinks.

That’s exactly what we’ll be discussing and demonstrating on Monday, 29 April at Old Street Records Shoreditch in London as The Spirits Business joins with Tito’s Handmade Vodka for a mixology masterclass featuring America’s Original Craft Vodka, and benefitting Equal Measures, a UK non-profit organization that champions equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Hosted by Melita Kiely, editor of The Spirits Business, along with Matt Brennan and Ashley Wardill from Tito’s, the session will include a brief history about Tito’s and its Austin, Texas origins, followed by a tasting, and then cocktails (of course!). Drinks will be prepared and demonstrated by a mixologist from Equal Measures.

Also, as part of Tito’s’ ongoing support for Equal Measures and their important efforts to ensure long-lasting positive change in our industry, Tito’s will donate to the charity £100 for every person who attends the masterclass session.

*Please note that Tito’s will make a donation of up to £5,000 for this masterclass.

Hope you can make plans to join us!

Venue: Old Street Records Shoreditch
Time: 3pm – 5pm

In the UK, Tito’s is exclusively distributed by Spirit Cartel.

About Tito’s Handmade Vodka
Tito’s Handmade Vodka was founded by sixth-generation Texan, Bert “Tito” Beveridge. In the mid-nineties, on a plot of land in rural Austin, he built a 998 square foot shack, rigged a pot still with spare parts, and created Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Tito’s corn-based vodka is certified gluten free. Tito’s Handmade Vodka is distilled and bottled by Fifth Generation, Inc. in Austin, Texas, and is available in 3L, 1.75L, 1.5L, 1.14L, 1L, 75cl, 70cl, 50cl, 37.5cl, 20cl, and 5cl sizes. Tito’s Handmade Vodka is available in over 140 markets including the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. For more information, visit: www.titosvodka.com.

About Equal Measures
Equal Measures was founded to support marginalised and underrepresented people within the drinks and hospitality industries through Education, Mentorship, Community & Opportunities. The intersectional initiative enriches possibilities for those from Black, Asian, and other minority ethnicities, or who have faced systemic barriers to their career progression for other reasons such as gender non-conformity, sexuality, or neuro divergence. Through the Education and Mentorship Project, Equal Measures aims to give participants the tools they need to create and sustain rewarding careers. By challenging existing hiring practices, it hopes to build awareness of obstacles faced by marginalised groups, and to collaborate with the drinks and hospitality industries to resolve existing biases.
