Marmalade Vodka takes flight at T5
By Alan LodgeChase Distillery is looking to send its Marmalade Vodka global with its launch in World Duty Free at London Heathrow Airport’s International Terminal 5.
The Marmalade Vodka is made by marinating fine English marmalade preserve with Chase Potato Vodka and infusing it with fresh Seville orange peel in a bespoke Alembic copper pot still.
Nigel Sandals, category buying manager for Liquor at World Duty Free, said: “We have been selling Chase’s award winning vodka for the past year and it has been extremely well received by our customers.
“This quirky new product will be launched exclusively in Heathrow’s T5 and supported with in-store sampling during the month of May, to allow our customers to experience it for themselves.
“Wherever possible we like to support smaller suppliers and Chase Distillery is a great example of this.”
Created by Chase Distillery owner William Chase, Chase Marmalade Vodka was first produced as a limited edition last year.
It proved so successful and sought after that Chase decided to make it a permanent feature of the Chase Distillery product portfolio.
“We’re overwhelmed by how popular our Marmalade vodka is,” Chase said. “We’ve had waiting lists! There’s a real love for it both with bar-tenders and consumers. We’re thrilled to be spreading the best of British abroad and World Duty Free’s store in LHR T5 is a perfect platform this.”
