Eden Mill debuts limited edition summer gin

The new Summer in St Andrews gin from Eden Mill Distillery draws inspiration from summertime on Scotland’s east coast.

Summer in St Andrews is available now from the Eden Mill Distillery shop, in person and online, as well as through selected on-trade partners.

It is priced at RRP £32 (US$43) per 700ml bottle at 40% ABV.

Hamish Maclean, senior brand manager at Eden Mill, said: “Summer in St Andrews is an ode to our hometown in the sun. It’s a gin for garden parties and beach picnics, that can be enjoyed with tonic, lemonade, prosecco or whatever you so choose.

“Local raspberries and strawberries from Tarvit Farm in Cupar are bolstered by heady rhubarb and a sharp kick of lemon. There’re just 500 bottles, so – like the Scottish summer – it will be gone before you know it.”

Visitors to Eden Mill Distillery in Fife can sample the new release as part of a Summer Gin Afternoon Tea which will be offered throughout August.

The ticketed experience costs £35 (US$47) per person and includes a Bramble cocktail made with Summer in St Andrews, paired with cakes and preserves.

Eden Mill began producing whisky and gin at its new distillery on the University of St Andrews’ Eden Campus in April 2025.

The site boasts a 300-cask warehouse, a bar and retail space, and offers a series of immersive guest experiences focused on gin, whisky and cocktails.

Later that year, the distillery entered administration but was purchased by private equity firm Ruby Capital for an undisclosed sum.

In April 2026, Eden Mill appointed Steven Kersley, former managing director of BrewDog Distilling Co, as its new CEO.
