Brooklyn Gin appoints Gorilla Brands as UK distributor
The American gin brand marked US Independence Day (4 July) this year by returning to the UK with Gorilla Brands.
Under the exclusive UK distribution deal, Gorilla Brands will focus on ‘premium retail, hospitality and independent spirits specialists.’

It’s an iconic brand with an incredible story, and we’re excited to give it the platform it deserves in the UK.”
Brooklyn Gin is now available in the UK in the off-trade through retailers including Master of Malt, Tolchards, Hedonism and Amazon. It comes at an RRP of £43.50 (US$58) for a 70oml bottle at 40% ABV.
The brand was founded in 2010 by Emil Jättne and Joe Santos and was distributed in the UK by Hi-Spirits, now Sazerac UK, between 2016 and 2020.
Brooklyn Gin was initially produced at Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery in Warwick, New York, but is now made at the brand’s distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Gorilla Brands is headquartered in Horsham, England. Its portfolio also includes Karisimbi Rum, Silverback Gin and Maraba Coffee Liqueur.
