Located a ‘stone’s throw’ from Bar Planet on Enmore Road, Super 44 is centred around fruit-forward Margaritas and is described as the ‘group’s most expansive exploration’ of the cocktail to date.

The group dubbed the space a ‘psychedelic reimagining of the bars you might stumble into on dustier, distant lands’.

Daisy Tulley, Mucho Group CEO, said: “Super 44 is centred around our favourite cocktail, the Margarita – this time with a little extra Mucho magic.

“Our mission is to bring joy to the locals of Enmore Road, and our most delicious Margarita to the Inner West. We’re excited to continue Mucho’s 15-year celebration of making delicious Margaritas, hand-selecting Tequilas, bagging up hot popcorn, and providing incredible service.”

The menu is split into four styles: classic, spicy, frozen and sparkling.

The list is headlined by the Super, a citrus-forward Margarita made with house-made grapefruit and yuzu liqueur, and finished with finger lime pearls.

Other highlights include the Sunstroke, which channels the taste of Fanta through carrot, passionfruit and shiso, and the Santo, which is reminiscent of melted ice cream with fresh apple and melon crème.

In the spicy section, the Spicy 44 mirrors salsa verde with tomatillo, coriander and jalapeño. The Red Hot takes after al pastor tacos with roasted red pepper, pineapple and ancho chilli.

Fans of frozen Margaritas can order the Whirlpool, which combines Tequila, lime, avocado and dragonfruit, and the Bondi, which brings together Tequila, cinnamon, lime, cashew and banana.

Each month will also feature a rotating Margarita special that spotlights seasonal fruits. The opening special is a creamy sake-spiked Coconut Margarita.

The space, meanwhile, features black-and-white tiled floors and objects collected by the group on annual trips to Mexico.

The interior is inspired by traditional Mexican cantinas and European tavernas, and music by ‘shifting radio stations on a desert road trip’.

Super 44 is located on 44 Enmore Road in Newtown.

Mucho Group has also explored beyond agave this year with the openings of Herbs Taverne and Bar Bridge, both in Sydney.

Bar Bridge was one of our hottest bar openings of spring 2026.
