The gin made from French wine grapes is now available from the Majestic website and its 216 stores across the UK and Jersey.

Tom Brady, senior buyer at Majestic, said: “I’ve been a huge fan of Renais Gin since it launched a few years back. At Majestic, we are always looking for spirits that offer our customers a new conversation piece for their drinks cabinet, and Renais ticks that box perfectly.

“What makes Renais special is how the team has crafted such a bold and innovative flavour profile from French wine grapes. We’re really excited to bring it into our range and help our customers discover another premium and genuinely delicious gin.”

Launched by the Watson siblings in May 2023, Renais Gin is set to celebrate its third anniversary this summer.

The gin draws its flavour from local terroir and fresh botanicals, and is said to embody France’s rich viticultural heritage. It represents a second-generation winemaking family from the Domaine Watson vineyards in Chablis.

Alex Watson, CEO and co-founder of Renais Gin, described Majestic as a “natural home” for the brand.

He continued: “As the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, their customers care about where a drink comes from and who made it – and that’s exactly the conversation we want to have.

“Renais is a gin born in Chablis from our family’s vineyard, and there’s no better place to share that story than with shoppers who already speak the language of terroir. Three years in, this is a milestone listing for us, and we’re thrilled to be working with the Majestic team.”

From June 2026 to December 2026, in celebration of the nationwide launch and the brand’s anniversary, Renais is offering Majestic shoppers the chance to win an exclusive trip to Paris valued at more than £2,500 (US$3,360) with the purchase of a bottle of the gin in-store.

The promotional price of £33 (US$44) is available at the retailer in June and July.

After making a purchase, shoppers can enter the contest by scanning the QR code on the bottle’s hanging label or by visiting Renais’ website.

In addition to the nationwide deal with Majestic, the brand recently secured key listings at London venues, such as Fuller’s pubs, Côte Brasserie, and Fallow.

Within the off-trade, the brand is sold in Ocado, Waitrose, and Amathus.

Earlier this year, Renais Gin joined forces with export partner Charter Brands.
