Sierra Tequila offers Mexico trip in Tesco listing
By Rupert HohwielerStock Spirits Group-owned Sierra Tequila is offering a trip to Mexico as part of a supermarket promotion with Tesco.

Launched with its retail partner Tesco, 60,000 bottles of the brand’s blanco and reposado expressions across the supermarket’s UK locations will feature necktags.
The necktags will bring the chance to win a trip for two to Cancún in Mexico, along with £500 (US$677) in spending money.
The headline prize is being supported by £100 (US$135) Tesco e-gift cards for 45 runners-up.
Shoppers can enter the competition by scanning a QR code printed on the bottle’s neck tag, or by entering the details and the unique code on the brand’s UK website.
The promotion will run until 22 June 2026.
It will also be supported by a discount on the brand’s blanco in Tesco, which will be available for £14 (US$19) for a 500ml bottle from 22 June to July.
Rob Curteis, managing director of The Drinks Company, which distributes Sierra in the UK, said: “Sierra Tequila is for unforgettable moments, it’s the ultimate party brand and we wanted to bring this to life on shelf.
“We’re delighted to partner with Tesco to offer consumers the chance to experience Mexico’s no.1 party destination.”
Stock Spirits has looked to expand Sierra’s UK retail presence in the past year, taking its ready-to-drink Margarita cocktail to Lidl stores, and then WHSmith locations at train stations and airports.
In March, Stock Spirits unveiled a 100% agave range for the brand.
Other brands that have utilised on-pack promotions in the UK off-trade recently include Hayman’s and Cotswolds Distillery.
