BuzzBallz unleashes 10ft gumball machine in UK
Sazerac-owned BuzzBallz has parked a capsule toy vending machine on London’s Southbank as the brand brings its Berry Cherry Limeade flavour to the UK.

The machines – known as gachapons in Japan – featured samples of the new flavours, as well as exclusive merchandise and instant win rewards. More than 4,000 prizes were up for grabs, with one person able to win £5,000 (US$6,698) in cash.
Jess Scheerhorn, president of BuzzBallz’ business unit at Sazerac, said: “Spontaneous fun is at the heart of BuzzBallz, and what better way to celebrate than with what might be the biggest-ever gacha machine?
“We know the UK has been waiting for the full roll-out of Berry Cherry Limeade – you spoke, and we listened. It’s time to grab life by the fruity Ballz.”
The flavour is now available in UK supermarkets with a suggested price of £3.99 (US$5.36).
BuzzBallz frequently marks its flavour releases with outlandish marketing campaigns and merchandise. Its Pink Lemonsqueezy variant coincided with an auction for a nine-carat pink diamond ring, while its Grape flavour was accompanied by a branded kettlebell.
Sazerac is hoping to capitalise on the popularity of BuzzBallz in the UK with the launch of Baby Shots, a range of cocktail-flavoured shots.
