Honouring its more than 350-year legacy, Maison Gautier has introduced a new visual identity for its VS and VSOP Cognacs, both bottled at 40% ABV.

The premium evolution is part of a broader brand enhancement strategy aimed at conveying cleaner, more contemporary lines that reflect the elegance and tradition of the Cognac house.

Gautier VS is a Cognac made from a blend of eaux-de-vie that are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two years, sourced from two terroirs: Fins Bois and Bons Bois.

The Cognac features aromas of white peach, complemented by hints of vanilla and mineral notes. It is priced at €31 (US$37).

In contrast, the brand’s VSOP is crafted from a blend of eaux-de-vie aged for at least five years, sourced from the Petite Champagne, Fins Bois, and Bons Bois crus.

Gautier VSOP Cognac presents flavours of honey, fig, and vanilla on the palate. The expression retails for €42 (US$50).

In celebration of the 270th anniversary of the estate’s official founding, Maison Gautier has crafted a special cuvée for its esteemed clients worldwide: the Gautier Brut de Fût 270 ans – Timeless.

The expression is crafted from rare eau-de-vie sourced from the Petite Champagne cru, selected from the estate’s Chai Paradis. It features flavours of sweet spices, candied fruits, and refined esters on the palate.

Gautier Brut de Fût 270 ans – Timeless limited edition Cognac is available exclusively at the Maison Gautier boutique and on the brand’s official website, priced at €190 (US$225).

Gautier Cognac has been part of Marie Brizard’s portfolio since 1995. Although the brand’s origins date back to 1644, it was officially established in 1755, following the founding charter signed by King Louis XV.
