Buzzballz rolls out exclusive flavours in India
Sazerac-owned ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail brand BuzzBallz has made its debut in India with three new country-exclusive flavours.
The three India-only exclusive flavours are Berry Lemon Squeeze, Strawberry Squeeze, and Chilli Guava Groove.
Unlike the brand’s offerings in other markets, which are spirits-based, the RTDs use an aromatised wine base.
Each flavour is offered at 15% ABV in a 180ml ball-shaped container priced at INR₹100 (US$1.10).
Jess Scheerhorn, vice-president of BuzzBallz, commented on the launch: “BuzzBallz is the number-one-selling single-serve, pre-mixed cocktail in the US. On the heels of recent successful expansion into other global markets like the UK, Ireland and Mexico, BuzzBallz has quickly established itself as an international cult favourite.
“India’s interest in new and interesting spirits and cocktails is already buzzing, and we think now is the perfect time to shake up the country’s ready-to-drink shelf with our convenient, innovative flavours and no-fuss fun. We can’t wait for consumers to pop, sip, and enjoy BuzzBallz.”
The brand made its debut in Bangalore in December, and additional city expansions are planned for 2026, including Goa.
Buzzballz was launched in 2009 and acquired by the Sazerac Company, the owner of Buffalo Trace, in 2024.
Innovations from the brand this year include an 80s-inspired Grapes Gone Wild in the US, which was launched alongside a grape-scented kettlebell.
Earlier this month, Buzzballz created a one-of-a-kind lineup of BuzzBagz, described as the ‘party essential of the season’.
