House of Decant turns to gifting with Dion
By Miona MadsenE-commerce marketplace House of Decant has partnered with Dion, a members-only social app focused on gifting drinks and curated experiences.

The Dion app transforms the phrase “let me buy you a drink” by turning digital gestures into real-life connections, enabling members to send and receive drinks at premium venues across global cities.
The new partnership with House of Decant enables members to have bottles delivered directly to their homes as gifts or gestures.
Chris Seddon, managing director of House of Decant, explained: “Whether you are sending a bottle of Dom Pérignon, Don Julio 1942, or an everyday drinking wine, the gesture should feel effortless for you and unforgettable for them. That is precisely what this partnership unlocks.”
With the Dion app, members can browse the selection of premium bottles from House of Decant. In just a few taps, they can select a bottle, add a note, and send it directly to anyone on Dion or from their phone contact list within the UK.
Alistair Moncrieff, co-founder and CEO of Decant Group, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Dion, who’ve modernised the simple gesture of buying someone a drink, and we’re bringing that same ethos into the home – making it effortless, while still feeling like an experience.
“From the moment we saw the platform, the partnership felt natural: a shared vision for making meaningful moments effortless.”
Earlier this year, Decant Group raised US$1.15 million in equity to fuel its expansion in the US and UK.
Revekka Palaiologou, co-founder and CEO of Dion, said: “At Dion, every meaningful new connection starts with a gesture. Partnering with House of Decant allows our members to extend that gesture beyond the bar – into homes, celebrations, and moments that matter. It’s a natural extension of Dion’s treating economy. Together, we’re making it effortless to connect or reconnect.”
Last month, House of Decant announced the appointment of former Zapp buyer Dan Whine as its new commercial director and buyer.
