Witchmark scrums with Bath Rugby
By Miona MadsenEnglish distillery Witchmark has established a multi-year partnership with Bath Rugby as the team’s official spirits supplier.

The Wiltshire-based, B Corp-certified distillery will serve as Bath Rugby’s official partner from 2025 until the end of the 2027/28 season.
James Bibby, Bath Rugby’s commercial director, said: “We’re thrilled to announce Witchmark Distillery as our official spirits supplier through to the 27/28 season, a brand that shares our passion for excellence and innovation.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to celebrating the best of Bath, on the field and in the community. Together, we aim to create unforgettable experiences for our fans, blending the spirit of rugby with the artistry of distilling for our supporters both on and off the pitch.”
Witchmark has secured exclusive rights in the spirits category across Bath Rugby’s venues, including The Rec stadium and Farleigh House. Rugby fans will be able to enjoy Witchmark’s spirits at all home fixtures. The agreement covers gin and vodka, as well as whisky from 2027.
The brand will be prominently featured on big screens and digital signage at The Rec.
Additionally, a co-branded Bath Rugby x Witchmark Gin will be launched in time for Christmas 2025. This will be available in the club’s hospitality lounges, matchday bars, stadium shop, and through the distillery’s retail and e-commerce channels.
Jon Carson, co-founder and commercial director of Witchmark Distillery, stated: “This partnership with Bath Rugby is a huge moment for us at Witchmark, not just professional but personal. A large proportion of our team are lifelong Bath fans, so to collaborate with the treble-winning club with such a rich history is, frankly, a no-brainer.
“With the distillery just 30 miles from the Recreation Ground, we share a connection that’s shaped by provenance and integrity. We can’t wait to share our range of award-winning spirits with fans, players, and visitors in Bath and beyond.”
Witchmark crafts spirits from locally grown barley and water sourced from Wiltshire’s chalk aquifers.
The distillery has established a national presence in the UK through retailers such as Amathus and Hedonism, as well as listings in venues including Young’s Pubs, Fuller’s Pubs, The Ivy Collection, Harbour Hotels, and The Nici.
Earlier this month, Witchmark released a Single Origin New Make Spirit Distiller’s Cut to give whisky lovers a preview of its future single malt.
