Spy X Vodka makes bid for global success
By Miona MadsenPortuguese company Spy Manor has launched Spy X Vodka, aiming to establish a new standard for ultra-luxury spirits globally.

Sky X Vodka is distilled and bottled in Poland, and conceptualised in Portugal. The brand describes itself as combining ‘European craftsmanship, mystery and modern sophistication’.
The vodka is made with a ‘secret blend’ of spelt and wheat.
The spelt base is aged for more than 30 days after distillation – an uncommon practice in vodka production – giving Spy X its ‘ultra-neutral’ character. A traditional two-stage rectification process is said further to enhance the vodka’s purity and organoleptic quality.
Vanda Everke, co-founder of the Spy Manor and Spy X brands, said: “Spy X is more than a vodka – it’s a crafted experience. Developed in Portugal, produced in Poland, and destined for the world, Spy X embodies refinement at every stage, from grain to glass.”
The ultra-luxury vodka brand made its debut in July this year in Portugal at a launch event in Algarve. During the event, guests were introduced to Spy X’s signature cocktails, accompanied by a selection of carefully paired canapés, showcasing the brand’s emphasis on curated luxury experiences.
Michelle Opstelten, general manager of Edd’s Beach, who attended the launch, commented: “At Edd’s Beach, we’re always looking for ways to create something memorable for our guests. Spy X Vodka immediately caught our attention – not just for its exceptional smoothness, but also for the brand story behind it.
“We’re excited to be among one of the first ones to feature Spy X at our venue and are already working with the team to host a themed Spy Night this August, where the mystery and sophistication of Spy X will take centre stage.”
Another attendee to the event, Cyril de Weerdt, co-founder of Katedral Nightclub and Sin Sushi Restaurant in Portimão, added: “We’re proud to see a project like Spy X– international in ambition but born in Portugal – taking its first steps here. We’re excited to offer Spy X Vodka in both our VIP lounge and sushi bar, where it will perfectly complement the premium experience we deliver to our guests.”
Spy X Vodka will be available initially in Portugal, with international markets to follow, including Europe, the UK and Hong Kong.
Bruno Marques, managing director at the Cassio Social Club, one of the Hong Kong’s premier nightlife destinations, expressed his excitement for the upcoming launch: “At Cassio, we thrive on crafting nights that feel as exclusive as they are electric.
“Spy X instantly caught my eye – its design stands out, and its refined character blends European elegance with Hong Kong’s nightlife energy. It’s the surprise we’ve been waiting for.”
