Highlighting the Northern Mexican heritage spirit, the inaugural Sotol Week New York will take place from 6 to 12 October 2025.

The dedicated week of celebration invites the hospitality industry and the public to explore sotol through a programme that includes cocktails, tastings, flights, educational panels, and cultural events, designed to enhance the spirit’s presence in global discussions.

Cardenxe Sotol, a leading artisanal producer, will collaborate with some of the city’s most acclaimed venues to showcase the versatility of sotol in cocktails. Participating venues include Authentic Hospitality’s Bar Calico, Jac’s on Bond, Pebble Bar, and Ray’s; Neighborhood Projects-owned Smith & Mills, Yves, Tiny’s, and Golden Swan; One More Hospitality’s Alice, Osteria 57, Travelers, and Poets & Friends; and Bar Camillo, Camillo, and Locanda Vini e Oli, owned by Camillo Brooklyn.

Other establishments include Raines Law Room, El Bar, and The Cactus Shop.

Luigi Ambrosi, founder of Cardenxe Sotol, said: “Our mission with Sotol Week is to introduce New Yorkers to the rich culture of Northern Mexico and spark curiosity for this remarkable spirit.

“This is just the beginning – we hope to be bringing Sotol Week to cities across the country and around the world.”
