Desi Daru announces 2025 Culture Colliders venue
By Miona MadsenBritish-Indian vodka brand Desi Daru will host the 2025 Culture Colliders cocktail competition finals at The Churchill Bar and Terrace in Marylebone, London.

The 2025 Culture Colliders cocktail competition will take place at The Churchill Bar and Terrace on Monday 17 November.
Mohit Singh, co-founder of Desi Daru, shared: “It made complete sense to host the final at The Churchill Bar & Terrace. They have been long-time supporters of the brand and have created some of the most innovative serves on their cocktail menus using our vodkas.
“The bar setting is refined and elegant and reflects our brand so perfectly. Also, the team at Churchill Bar are true professionals, so we know that they’ll do an incredible job at hosting and ensuring that our finalists have everything that they need.”
Returning for its second year, the competition invites bartenders from across the UK to create a unique cocktail featuring Desi Daru’s Alphonso Mango Vodka, blending ‘the best of India with their own heritage’.
Judges this year are seeking finalists who can share a personal story through the art of mixology. The finalists will be evaluated based on flavour, appearance, presentation, and storytelling.
The winner will receive £2,500 (US$3,400), a distillery visit, and the 2025 Culture Colliders Trophy.
This year’s judging panel features Sukhinder Singh, co-founder and managing director of Elixir Distillers; Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business; Aneet Kaur, co-founder of Desi Daru; and Vitor Sousa, the 2024 Culture Colliders champion and assistant bar manager at The Churchill Bar and Terrace.
Gaston Fusco, bar manager at The Churchill Bar & Terrace, added: “A cocktail, like innovation, is an art. And like any art, it requires balance, harmony and finesse to excel. We were so proud of Vitor for winning its inaugural year, and we are honoured to host this year’s Culture Colliders final.
“Desi Daru’s Alphonso Mango has been a staple on our menu for many years now due to its quality and versatility, and we’re excited to see this year’s finalists’ creativity.”
Bartenders across the UK have until 20 October to submit their cocktail entries on the brand’s website.
