Martell exhibits premium Cognac range in Asian duty free
By Melita KielyTo celebrate the Chinese New Year, Martell is exhibiting its premium Cognac range in Asian duty free until March 2013.
Martell Cognac art gallery duty freeMartell’s Prestige and Ultra Prestige range are being displayed to travellers through interactive art displays – known as the Martell Galleries – in Macau International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport, Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Sandrine Tesniere, senior brand manager for Pernod Ricard Asia Duty Free, said: “Chinese New Year is a key gifting time for travellers in Asia Duty Free. The Martell Gallery is a fantastic way to create brand stand-out in a popular area during a busy seasonal period and to communicate Martell’s extraordinarily rich heritage and creativity whilst reinforcing the brand’s quality status.”
The Martell Gallery in the departure hall of Macau International Airport is exhibiting each decanter form the Prestige and Ultra Prestige range as a theatrical piece of art.
In the centre of the room there is a discovery table where travellers can learn about the Cognac region and Martell’s rare eaux-de-vie.
An interactive touch screen will also allow duty-free shoppers to learn about the House of Martell, the Martell Collection, gourmet food pairings and serving suggestions.
In Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan, the two ranges will be displayed in duty free shops. Shoppers who purchase Martell Cordon Bleu or Martell Chanteloup Perspective will receive a Chinese New Year gift packet plus a lucky draw card which they can register online to be in with the chance to win a trip to Cognac and the Chanteloup castle.
The installations have been in place since January.
