Bardstown rewrites rules in new campaign

Lofted Spirits-owned Bardstown Bourbon Company has unveiled a new brand campaign, called ‘Nowhere We Won’t Go’.

The campaign is intended to capture the brand’s ‘ambition, innovation, and relentless pursuit of quality’.

Creative agency Forsman & Bodenfors worked with the American whiskey brand on the campaign, which is a ‘visual and auditory journey’.

It features a 30-second hero film that blends brand footage with ‘energetic’ visuals, animated typography, and a custom jazz-meets-electronic soundtrack.

“We’ve always believed great Bourbon starts with curiosity, whether on our core expressions or our innovations,” said Pete Marino, Lofted Spirits president. “This campaign brings to life how far we’re willing to go, from the lab to the barrel house to the furthest corners of the world.”

The campaign also includes shorter 15- and six-second cutdowns, alongside digital placements, out-of-home visuals and a feature in Rolling Stone magazine.

Lofted Spirits launched as Bardstown’s parent company in March. The move followed Bardstown’s acquisition of Green River Spirits Company in 2022 and subsequent distillery expansion.

We recently spoke to the firm’s master blender Dan Callaway about expansion, innovation and keeping up with contract clients.
