Burnt Faith creates liqueurs
By Lauren BowesBritish brandy producer Burnt Faith has launched a three-strong range of liqueurs.

The liqueur flavours include triple sec, coffee and elderflower. The Burnt Faith team make the range in small batches of 880 bottles at the brand’s distillery in Walthamstow, northeast London.
The expressions use brandy and eaux-de-vie as the backbone distillate, which the brand claims adds depth of flavour and complexity.
The elderflower liqueur is made with British flora foraged from the Walthamstow Wetlands by the Burnt Faith team with help from London bartenders.
Bottled at 20% ABV, the liqueur is priced at £23 (US$30).
Meanwhile, the coffee variant is created in collaboration with local roaster Climpson & Sons, made with Brazilian coffee from Daterra. The coffee is hot-brewed and flash-cooled before being blended with Burnt Faith’s Bourbon barrel brandy.
Sitting at 18% ABV, the expression is priced at £23 (US$30).

The triple sec soft-launched at the end of last year and is made with three types of oranges: sweet, bitter, and blood oranges. The expression also features unaged eaux-de-vie and Burnt Faith brandy aged in Spanish and Bourbon casks.
Each liqueur bottle features a hand-dipped wax seal. The liquids will also be available in a three-litre bag-in-box option, which the brand says is a ‘UK first’ for liqueurs.
The triple sec is bottled at 22% ABV and retails at £23 (US$30) for a 700ml bottle.
Simon Wright, Burnt Faith founder, said: “The liqueurs project started with a simple ask from our brandy house bar for a modern brandy-based triple sec packed with zesty orange flavour, but it soon became so much more.
“Our eyes opened to what we could develop with our brandy in the liqueur space, and it allowed us to go further and create even more intense flavours from our local surroundings.
“Understandably, bars and bartenders are now looking much closer to home when it comes to their spirit range, so I hope we’ve struck on something powerful here. Much like the brandy category, we know that there are only a few key international players in this space and perhaps they are too big to focus on sustainability and innovation like we can.
“By using our brandy as the lead distillate, we wanted to stay true to our north star: brandy without boundaries, which highlights to everyone the undervalued versatility and quality of brandy.”
Burnt Faith was the first dedicated brandy distillery on the British Isles when it opened in March 2023.
