Cask Trade enhances cask ownership experience with warehouse
By Georgie CollinsA leading player in the global cask whisky market, Cask Trade, has opened its own warehouse in a move that promises to elevate the ownership experience for its clients.

Cask Trade‘s new bonded warehouse, located in the heart of Speyside, features a bespoke tasting room, enabling a unique and immersive experience for customers and clients.
Furthermore, the warehouse now offers whisky enthusiasts and investors alike, the opportunity to participate in masterclasses hosted by industry experts, taste whisky straight from their own cask, and see their own single cask bottled.
Situated in Forres, the warehouse has the capacity to store up to 25,000 casks. Its proximity to more than 50 world-renowned single malt distilleries in the region is said to make it the ideal location for Cask Trade’s new facility. It is also just a 30-minute drive from Inverness Airport, offering convenient access for visitors and investors who want to explore both the whisky world and the landscapes of Scotland, with local landmarks such as the pristine beaches of the Moray Firth and the mountainous forests of the Cairngorms National Park to explore nearby.
“This will allow us to provide delivery orders with greater ease for customers who wish to have one. The amazing location also means we can offer a total single cask whisky experience for our customers.”

This new development is the latest achievement in a successful year for Cask Trade, which has garnered recognition for its growth and innovation.
The company was recently featured in The Financial Times as one of Europe’s Fastest Growing Businesses for 2024, won The Drinks Trust’s cause-based Marketing Campaign of the Year, and was included in the Start Ups 100 list for 2024.
Cask Trade continues to lead the way in cask whisky investments, having already sold casks from more than 170 distilleries across Scotch whisky, rum, Cognac, and Armagnac.
The company prides itself on offering transparent cask ownership, where both buying and selling are treated with equal importance, and in addition to its expert account managers, Cask Trade provides customers with comprehensive resources, such as its annual Beyond The Cask magazine, to guide them through every stage of the cask ownership process.
