Masons Yorkshire Gin launches cocktail comp

Bartenders are challenged to create a cocktail that “truly reflects the style of Masons Gin”Entries are invited to use any expression from the Masons range to created a cocktail that “truly reflects the style of Masons Gin”, taking the brand’s heritage, backstory, branding, location and flavour profiles into consideration.
Four heats will be held across Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham before the winning bartenders present their cocktails in a grand final.
The competition winner will work closely with owner and founder Karl Mason and master distiller Gerard MacKluskey to create a limited edition batch of Masons Gin, which will be launched with a minimum run of 220 bottles.
Mason said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch our first cocktail competition. The reaction to our gin in the on-trade has been fantastic and we want to reward the creativity we’ve seen over the years. Masons Gin was built on originality and creativity and I can’t wait to work with the winning bartender to create a limited edition bottle”.
