Next Century Spirits buys XED Beverages
By Melita KielyNext Century Spirits has acquired ready-to-drink (RTD) producer XED Beverages for an undisclosed sum.

XED launched its first brand, Sesh, in four markets in March 2021. The company recently launched a second brand, a sake-based hard seltzer called Hape.
Anthony Moniello, co-CEO, said: “The acquisition of XED Beverages is another positive step in the growth of our portfolio. XED has great momentum and their consumer-first mindset fits right into Next Century Spirits’ philosophy.
“We believe that with our growing route-to-market team, NCS [Next Century Spirits] will help accelerate the growth of both Sesh and Hape, and ensure consumers are getting access to these amazing products.”
Next Century Spirits’ portfolio includes: Creek Water Whiskey, which was co-founded by rapper Yelawolf; Caddy Cocktails, made in partnership with golfer Greg Norman; and Bear Fight, an American single malt whiskey, co-founded by Seth MacFarlane.
