Prowein reveals Media Summit date
The Prowein Media Summit has been given a new date following the postponement of the annual trade fair.
The Prowein Media Summit will take place virtually on 23 February from 11am to 1pm.
The virtual media summit will give attendees details on the topics of Prowein 2022.
Direct links to the live stream will be sent out mid-February along with the complete programme.
Participants will also find out about the new Prowein Business Report 2021. The trade show and the Geisenheim University surveyed more than 3,000 experts from the international wine industry to gauge the ‘mood of the sector’.
The report also delved into organic wine-growing and sustainability.
Prowein 2022 will now take place from 15-17 May 2022 to allow more time for the omicron Covid-19 wave to pass. It had originally been scheduled for the end of March.
The German trade show usually welcomes thousands of exhibitors and professionals from around the world. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in cancellations for the past two years.
This year’s comeback show is expected to welcome 5,500 exhibitors at this year’s event. Tickets to the 2020 fair went on sale in December last year.
