Ballin spirits teams up with Escape Records
By Nicola CarruthersEnglish spirits brand Ballin will sponsor eight UK festivals this summer after partnering with Welsh events promoter Escape Records.

The new brand, which produces vodka, gin and white rum, was created to ‘enhance the clubbing experience’.
The partnership will see the Ballin brand officially launch this summer, when it will be the headline sponsor at eight UK festivals.
Escape Records is behind events such as Party at the Park, Inside Out, Escape Festival and Colour Clash.
Ballin said it had worked on ‘perfecting’ the range over three years with Greenall’s gin owner Quintessential Brands. The brand features reusable corks and fluorescent painted frosted bottles, which are produced in France.
Ballin’s founder Richard Heath said the Escape Records deal provides the company with a “platform to create the environments that our products are intended for”.
Heath added: “The inspirational moment for Ballin happened when I was in a club in Vegas, I’d just been presented with an astronomical bill for a bottle which would have otherwise cost me £30 in a supermarket back in the UK.
“I thought ‘there must be a way to give people better value for money than this’. The name Ballin was born right there and then, it was literally what I was doing – I was with my friends, having a ball.
“Whether our customers are Ballin in a club, spending a lot of money, or Ballin at home, having people over for a BBQ, our purpose is to provide genuinely decent quality products that are going to enhance their experiences.”
Furthermore, Ballin has created a range exclusively for the on-trade, featuring light up bottles that are metallised, a technique commonly used by Champagne brands.
Ballin is available to buy in 700ml bottles from Amazon and www.ballin.london. The vodka and gin is priced at RRP £35 (US$48) each, and the rum has an RRP of £36.50 (US$50).
