BCB requires attendees to be fully vaccinated
By Alice BrookerBar Convent Brooklyn (BCB) has revealed amended health and safety protocols for its 2021 conference in New York.

This year, guests must be fully vaccinated to enter the in-person bar trade show, which will take place in the Brooklyn Expo Centre on 17-18 August.
The updated health and safety guidelines aim to ‘ensure the most successful tasting’.
Visitors, exhibitors, vendors, media, speakers and staff will need to show proof of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organisation (WHO) approved Covid-19 vaccination. ‘Fully vaccinated’ has been defined as receiving a second dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine, or a single dose of an approved single-dose vaccine, both at least 14 days before the BCB event.
There are exceptions for those who are disabled, have ‘sincerely held religious beliefs’ or can provide a negative test result before entry.
All participants must also provide identification to prove being aged 21 or older.
Media badges can be purchased from barconventbrooklyn.com.
Last year, Bar Convent Berlin took place in digital format due to the pandemic.
