Beam Suntory makes key finance appointments

Beam Suntory has appointed Marc Andre Tousignant as CFO Americas and Diego Reynoso as CFO global supply chain as it seeks to execute its growth strategy for “big impact”.

Beam Suntory has promoted Diego Reynoso to the role of CFO global supply chain

Tousignant most recently served as VP global supply chain finance. He joined Beam Suntory from Avon Products in 2014 after a 17-year career spanning finance leadership roles in North America, Japan, Asia Pacific, China and EMEA.

Reynoso, now in his full role as CFO global supply chain, tax and treasury, has worked for Beam Suntory for 14 years, in role including CFO Americas and COO/CFO North America, in addition to commercial roles in Mexico and Canada. He most recently served as regional CFO Americas and GM Canada.

“Marc Andre and Diego are talented and experienced finance leaders, and these new roles give them and their teams important new ways to execute our growth strategy and make a big impact,” said John Owen, Beam Suntory chief financial officer.

Supporting the finance moves, Greg Hughes, most recently US general manager, has taken on additional responsibility of the Canadian market as GM North America. Hughes joined Beam Suntory from food giant Kraft last year.

Paula Erickson, chief human resources officer, commented: “We take pride in our incredibly deep bench of talent at Beam Suntory, and we are pleased to continue developing great career paths for key leaders from within our organisation.

“We describe our culture as a place where you can ‘Unleash Your Spirit’ and that’s what these leaders have done, driving results by inspiring their teams to be part of something greater.”

Last month, Beam Suntory was forced to deny reports the merger between the US and Japanese businesses was “volatile”.
