Halewood partners with Liverpool International Music Festival

Halewood Wines & Spirits-owned Liverpool Gin has been named the headline sponsor of this year’s Liverpool International Music Festival.

Liverpool Gin will take a branded double decker bus to the Liverpool International Music Festival

Liverpool Gin owner Halewood Wines & Spirits will be the title partner for the festival, which will now be called Liverpool International Music Festival with Liverpool Gin.

As part of the headline sponsorship agreement, Liverpool Gin will bring a branded double decker bus on site and will open a Liverpool Gin Garden that offers “an oasis of calm”.

VIP ticket holders at the festival will also benefit from Liverpool Gin tipis and bespoke trailer bars offering a wide range of food and drink.

Deputy mayor and cabinet member for culture, tourism and events, councillor Wendy Simon, said: “We’re delighted that such a well-recognised and respected brand as Liverpool Gin has come on board to support LIMF 2019.

“Halewood Wines & Spirits is a major player in the independent drinks industry and it’s fantastic that such a prominent business in the region is working with the city council to help stage what has become one of the most popular festivals in our events calendar.”

Liverpool International Music Festival with Liverpool Gin will take place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July, and will feature performances from Sigma, Ella Eyre, Grace Carter and De La Soul.

Last year, Halewood Wines & Spirits announced plans to open a £1 million (US$1.3m) distillery for its Liverpool Gin brand.
