Whitley Neill and Marylebone Gin name first ambassadors

UK-based drinks producer Halewood Wines & Spirits has appointed the first brand ambassadors for Whitley Neill Gin, Marylebone Gin and City of London Distillery.

Halewood Wines & Spirits has appointed four ambassadors across its Whitley Neill, Marylebone and City of London gin brands

The four new ambassadors, Jamie Rowe, Devin Tomlinson, Chris Dennis and Joe Brayford, will lead activations across the three brands as Halewood aims to “take its gin portfolio to the next level”.

Rowe, who has been appointed UK brand ambassador for Whitley Neill Gin, previously held the role of London sales manager for Woolf/Sung Wines and Spirits Merchants. He has also worked for a number of top bars, including Milk and Honey in London and The Maven in Leeds.

Whitley Neill has also appointed Tomlinson as its first global brand ambassador. The Cape Town resident has a background in hospitality and events.

With 15 years’ industry experience, Dennis joins Halewood as global ambassador for Marylebone Gin. Having worked in a host of high-profile London venues, Dennis is currently beverage director and partner at London cocktail bar Heads+Tails.

Finally, Halewood has announced Brayford will support its City of London Distillery.

Leanne Ware, senior marketing manager at Halewood Wines & Spirits, said: “Jamie, Devin, Chris and Joe all bring unique and exciting viewpoints on the gin category, and have an unrivalled passion for the industry and their individual crafts – we’re excited to have them on board and develop the strategy for each brand while demand for each grows.

“At a time when there is a lot of noise in the category, we encourage the trade to make use of their expertise and discover how they can develop the right type of gin experience for their audience.”

Halewood Wine & Spirits’ gin portfolio also includes J.J. Whitley, Liverpool Gin, Aber Falls, The Glasgow Distillery Company and Peaky Blinder Gin.
