Mrs Fogg’s celebrates Holi with colourful cocktails

London bar Mrs Fogg’s Maritime Club & Distillery has unveiled a new cocktail menu dedicated to the Holi festival, a Hindu celebration of colour.

Drinks on Mrs Fogg’s Holi Festival menu include Aouda’s Aperitif and the Sunshine & Spice

The new menu will be available until the end of May and features four “vibrant” creations, including a colour-changing cocktail.

Mrs Fogg’s will be serving up the Bombay Butterfly, made with Bombay Sapphire infused with butterfly pea flower tea, apricot liqueur, sugar syrup and citric acid, and the Sunshine & Spice, which combines Bacardi Cuatro, Amaro Montenegro, orange juice, turmeric, House of Broughton Ginger Syrup and lime.

The menu also includes Aouda’s Aperitif, made with Monkey Shoulder, Aperol, lemon juice, grenadine and rose water, and the Verdant Voyage, a blend of creme de menthe verde, creme de cacao blanc, coconut cream, east India solera and pistachio and coffee syrup.

Alongside the cocktail list, Mrs Fogg’s has launched a new express lunch menu, which features dishes such as the Holi Special Samosa Chaat, made with crushed Punjabi samosas served with chickpea masala and topped with yoghurt, tamarind sauce and pomegranate.

Head chef Jayanta Pal said: “Holi, the festival of spring, colours and love is celebrated across India and we are really excited to offer guests a taste of the subcontinent by launching the new spring menu at Mrs Fogg’s. Offering local workers an express lunch means guests can enjoy a moment out of their day, to enjoy a menu filled with flavour and vibrant colours.”

The menu will be available at Mrs Fogg’s Maritime Club & Distillery until 31 May.
