Gin Mare Mediterranean Inspirations, Meet The Finalists

The finalists in Gin Mare’s Mediterranean Inspirations cocktail competition were some of the world’s finest bartenders.

The seven bartenders, hailing from as far away as Australia, were invited to the brand’s idyllic private villa in northern Ibiza for the grand final of the competition.

They included Perryn ‘Pez’ Collier from The Laneway in Australia; Dee Ann Quinones from 69 Colebrooke Row in London; Toreten Spuhn from Modern Masters in Efurt, Germany; Adriana Soley from La Cabrera in Madrid, Spain; Andrew Nicholls, co-founder of Barchaeology in Holland; Jorge Camilo from 100 Maneiras in Lisbon, Portugal; and Alexandre Peyraud from Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Judges, including SB’s deputy editor Becky Paskin, found the winner to be Soley, who demonstrated her ability as a bartender plus embodiment of the brand’s core values.
