Knappogue Castle launches single barrel Irish whiskey

Castle Brands has unveiled a single barrel version of its 12-year-old Knappogue Castle single malt Irish whiskey.

Bottled at 46% abv, Knappogue Castle Single Barrel Single Malt Irish Whiskey will retail for US$65.

The 12-year-old expression is non-chill-filtered and has been matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels, which are said to deliver a rich, biscuit, slightly peppery aroma, with fruitiness and mild spice flavours on the palate.

The expression is available to purchase with custom engraved labels for a limited time from online retailer Reserve Bar at reservebar.com.
