Following last year’s success, multi-city UK festival Cocktails in the City is set to return for 2016 – starting with a three-day celebration in London.

Three-day cocktail festival Cocktails in the City returns for 2016

Set to hit Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh later this year, the first leg of the festival will be hosted at London’s One Mayfair this March, introducing more than 3000 guests to “imaginative, innovative and delicious cocktails” from a diverse array of bars.

Produced by creative lifestyle company Bourne & Hollingsworth Group, the festival has confirmed London venues including Cahoots, Coq D’Argent, Dishoom, and Looking Glass Cocktail Club.

For the first time the festival will also represent international bars, including Little Red Door in Paris, Door 74 in Amsterdam and Ruby in Copenhagen.

A statement from Kapranos PR read: “From classic Champagne Cocktails to refreshing Pisco Sours, the weekend will see some of the world’s finest bartenders flaunt their cocktail skills and introduce thirsty guests to an array of unusual and rare ingredients.

“Perfect for seasoned cocktail aficionados and recent enthusiasts in equal measure, Cocktails In The City is a one-of-the-kind experience that allows guests to enjoy the best of London’s dynamic and world-famous bar scene without even having to leave the building.

“From well- established brands to innovative newcomers, each bar will be vying for the limelight, offering delicious tastings, interactive demonstrations and unique forms of entertainment.”

In the venue’s crypt, newly opened bars will showcase their latest concept cocktails, while the grand hall will play host to world-famous cocktail bars and established favourites.

There will be a feasting table in the great hall, delivering “creative dining at its finest” with a bespoke cocktail-inspired menu.

The mezzanine level will welcome international bars, with additional food and drinks available at the rooftop BBQ and bar.

Tickets are £15 and include one cocktail, complimentary experiences and a cocktail booklet.
