Italy-based Francoli Distillery will introduce its Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur to the US following a distribution agreement with national importer A. Hardy USA.

Francoli Distillery is set to introduce its Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur to the US

The expression was launched in the UK market back in 2014, and will now be made available across the US in both the on- and off-trade.

Created from wild elderflowers grown and harvested in the Piemonte region of Italy, the expression is said to be “distinctively floral” with “hints of lemon, mint and honey”.

Hardy USA president Mark Levinson says Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur is “a natural fit for Italian restaurants”.

“This is the first elderflower liqueur from Italy available in the United States. It has been very well received by on-premise and off-premise retailers. Elderflower liqueurs are in demand, and we expect the demand will significantly increase as American consumers become more familiar with them,” he said.

Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur is bottled at 20% abv, and is intended to be blended with sparkling wine or mixed into cocktails.

The RRP of a 750ml bottle will be US$24.99.
