Gin Mare creates G&T ‘Gindae’ ice cream
By Kristiane SherryGin Mare has teamed up with ice cream maker Ruby Violet to host a G&T Ice Cream Parlour pop-up for London gin fans.
Open at The Hoxton in Shoreditch from 9-11 June, the activity marks World Gin Day by offering consumers botanical-infused ice creams and sorbets for the “ultimate” G&T ice cream.
The ice-creams are available topped with a choice of dried olive, crystallised rosemary, botanical brittle, savoury wafer or gin-soaked orange peel, paired with Gin Mare G&Ts.
Served with a twist, G&T garnish options include a wedge of mango and a grind of black pepper.
Each G&T, with “complimentary and complementary” ice cream, is priced at £5.
The G&T Ice Cream Parlour will be open from 2-8pm on 9-11 June in the courtyard at The Hoxton in Shoreditch.
Gin Mare has partnered with The Hoxton before, opening a botanical garden at the hotel in 2015.
