Chase Distillery founder pens autobiography
By Melita KielyWilliam Chase, founder of Chase Distillery and Tyrell’s Chips, is preparing to launch his autobiography next month.
William Chase, founder of Chase Distillery, has written an autobiography called One Potato, Two…Titled One Potato, Two…, the book will depict Chase’s ascent from a “bankrupt potato farmer” to the entrepreneur he is today.
Starting with the distiller’s early years growing up on Tyrell’s Court in Hertfordshire, UK, the book travels through Chase’s trading days through to when he was able to “find the magic” for Tyrell’s Chips and Chase Distillery.
The book is illustrated with hundreds of photos from the distillery and English countryside, accompanied by food and cocktail recipes.
“We are really proud of the book, and it’s really engaging showing the whole process from field to bottle and finishing with cocktails created by myself and bartending friends of Chase,” commented James Chase, marketing director and founding family member.
One Potato, Two… is scheduled to launch on 10 November and is available to pre-order now via www.williamschase.co.uk at an RRP of £22.
The book will also be released in selected retailers.
