Thompson’s Bordelais Grape Gin is made from 15 different botanicals, including caviar

Thompson’s Bordelais Grape Gin is distilled from eaux-de-vie from the Bordelais with 15 macerated botanicals including juniper, pepper and ginger.

The new expression is said to offer grassy and herbal aromas on the nose, including lemon zest and lime, while delivering flavours of dry spices such as cumin, cardamom and hints of liquorice on the palate.

The brand describes itself as “perfect for your top-shelf cocktails and your favourite G&T” due to its long, floral, spicy finish.

Bottled at 43% abv, Thompson’s Bordelais London Dry Style Gin will first launch this month in on-trade establishments in the UK, Belgium, Germany and France with an RRP of up to £40 per 700ml bottle.

In addition, Thompson’s also launched its Bordelais Grape Vodka in the UK last week – a double distilled vodka described as “resolutely contemporary and festive”.

Thompson’s Bordelais Grape Vodka has an abv of 40% and carries an RRP of £35 per 700ml bottle.
