Paul Masson Brandy releases second flavour

Paul Masson Grande Amber Red Berry is the second flavour extension in the brand’s portfolioPaul Masson Grande Amber Red Berry Brandy is the second flavoured variant released by the brand, following Paul Masson Grande Amber Peach Brandy in 2014 – which helped New York-based Constellation Brands gain market share in the US in 2014/15.
Described as a “delectable fusion of smooth tasting Paul Grande Amber Brandy and the flavour of ripe, red berries”, the bottling is available across the US from June 2015.
“We are thrilled to be releasing our second Paul Masson flavour,” said Diana Pawlik, vice president of marketing for Constellation’s spirits and global imports arm.
“Based on our insights, Paul Masson Red Berry’s juicy, rich flavour profile is sure to be a hit with our target consumer and we look forward to celebrating its success.”
Constellation Brands has created two signature serve cocktails to accompany the new release: Red Berry Fizz, a mix of Paul Masson Red Berry, agave nectar, lemon and soda water; and Berried Ginger, a mix of Paul Masson Red Berry with ginger beer.
With an RRP of US$11.99 for a 750ml bottle, Paul Masson Grande Amber Red Berry Brandy has an abv of 27%.
Constellation Brands, which also owns Svedka Vodka, appointed former Beam Suntory executive Jared Fix as its new chief marketing officer last month.
